This exceptional watch is also equipped with a multi-axis tourbillon. In addition to the axis of its carriage, the ingenious Sphérotourbillon mechanism has a second axis inclined at 20° that counteracts the effects of gravity in all positions. This watch is also equipped with a small seconds hand flyback system that enables the tourbillon to be set to the nearest second.

About Jaeger-LeCoultre
Antoine LeCoultre established his watchmaking workshop in 1833. LeCoultre was a horological inventor, having developed the pinion cutting machine, and a measuring device accurate to one micron. In 1903, a watchmaker named Edmond Jaeger challenged the Swiss manufactures to mass-produce an ultra-thin movement that he had invented. LeCoultre accepted and completed the challenge.
