To fulfill the wish that the watch speed be made as accurate as possible, he tested oils for extreme temperature ranges so as to withstand both freezing temperatures and Sahara-like conditions. With the development of a spring and an escapement of polycrystalline silicon, the watch has become even more accurate and possesses its own protective shield against shocks, centrifugal- and gravitational forces. The grand finale is the midsize company’s start and successful completion of its own movement. The year 2010 sees the completion of the first DAMASKO automatic movement named A35 – 1, integrating all previous technologies.
